Meet Our Animals

The Ralph Perkins II Wildlife Center & Woods Garden—Presented by KeyBank is home to a diverse array of species representing distinct Ohio ecosystems. Each animal that calls Perkins home has come to the center as part of a rescue-and-rehabilitation effort, and none can be successfully released into the wild.

These magnificent native creatures live at the Museum and serve as animal ambassadors for the natural world. Each animal brings its own story, representing its species and providing an enriching and interactive way for Museum guests to connect to nature. Scroll below to learn more about our animals.
